I disagree with that. The Lecavalier contract has not kept the Flyers out of the entire FA crop. The Flyers had about 4.7M to work with before signing Emery.

And no guarantee that they could get cap compliant by just moving Vinny afterwords. What if we picked had picked up a guy for around 4.5 and no one would take Vinny? Now you're stuck moving a Matt Read. That's a big risk.

i feel bad for tim howard. dude's been unbelievable. defense makes a play, and 2 guys go to the ball, get beaten and goes far side just inside the post. the us hasn't even come close to scoring a goal.
