I disagree with that. The Lecavalier contract has not kept the Flyers out of the entire FA crop. The Flyers had about 4.7M to work with before signing Emery. - MJL
And no guarantee that they could get cap compliant by just moving Vinny afterwords. What if we picked had picked up a guy for around 4.5 and no one would take Vinny? Now you're stuck moving a Matt Read. That's a big risk. |

i feel bad for tim howard. dude's been unbelievable. defense makes a play, and 2 guys go to the ball, get beaten and goes far side just inside the post. the us hasn't even come close to scoring a goal. |

We have no 2nd or 3rd rounder, so we can't even be Richards and make life difficult for them |

They don't have to move Lecavalier to get Cap compliant. That number is with Lecavalier on the team.

so if they had the space and maneuverability....who did you want that went elsewhere? - hammarby31
Niskanen
Ehrhoff
I would rather have Iginla with the contract he just signed over Vinny as it's a better overall fit for the team.
Other minor moves to bolster the 4th line/ D depth. |

So does this mean people will stop telling me I need to watch? That last 30 minutes I saw of Greece - Costa Rica were spell binding and more than enough kickball to hold me over for yrs. |

This reminds me of when the Marlins signed all that high price talent then traded them all away the next offseason |

even worse, with all of their apparent cap issues at the end of last season they still havent used either of their compliance buyouts.

That was the worst game though
Greece plays not to lose even when the game is tied. They're the NJ Devils of soccer |

Ehrhoff and Niskanen on the open market available to all 30 teams, are making on the average less than Andrew MacDonald. Holmgren was bidding against Holmgren tho, so it wasn't a fair fight.
