It wouldnt surprise me if Tim Murray is just waiting to see if he pulls off his trade before signing Ott. If the trade goes through I think Ott has a better chance of being here to replace Stewart/Hodgson.

You may be right, but I dont see Stafford as having that much trade value right now. By the end of the season if he plays to his potential, then they will be able to get a better haul at the deadline. Right now there are plenty of teams that would want Stewart. I honestly like Hodgson and would only want him to leave if the haul was good enough. He proved he is a hard worker and a good winger. Its going to be interesting in the future with all the talent in the pipeline what they plan on doing in 2-3 years though. So I can see him being moved in anticipation of that. Again, only if the haul is good enough.

That being said I don't really want to trade Hodgson I think he could be a solid offensive winger.. Unless of course the return is too good to pass up, and the rumored trade that's been floating around isn't good enough.. Stewart yeah I guess trade him for Ott on the roster..

It's just amazing I guess how we all just aren't surprised anymore with news like this? Kelly is also struggling through a difficult time, but this city always comes together in times like this! Buffalo will help these 2 get through this difficult time together.

I would imagine so. As was mentioned earlier, adding him in also helps us at the deadline if we want to move players without being so close to the floor.
