I think Stralman is the way to go.. Saw great improvement and his CORSI ratings (HARD- 16.2 / HART- 12.3) are the highest by far the highest on the Rangers defensemen roster. Also probably the most consistent of the Ranger bunch and is 27 years old...
He might actually be the cheapest out of the 4 top four defensemen out there...
Rangers offered Stralman $4 mil per year.. The Lightning could go $5 mil per year with the added benefit of no state income tax and we should be good to go... - GrayhawkAZ
That could be are option b |

What is your obsession with Spelling Connolly's name wrong?

And I think The Palat - Fil - Callahan line was too good to break up... |

Yes but two rookies on the top line I don't see it. With two scorers and Drouins added playmaking you need grit in the corners. That's Callahan |

Why ? Why do you need a gritty player on a top line ? Why can't stamkos or drouin or Connolly go get the damn pick on their own ??? That's a lethal line if Connolly has another strong camp |

They can but I think I'd rather have a Stammer or Drouin in the crease or high slot. All players go the the corners. Camp's are good but Connolly didn't show a great two way game yes he scored in pre season then had one assist in 9 games. |

On the 3rd/4th line? - RileyB77
Because he didn't earn higher. He was sloppy with the puck and had turnovers. He wasn't going to replace Marty on the top line so he had a shot at the second line but wasn't good enough. He was wasted on the 3rd or4th so they sent him down. Players earn top line even Stammer was 2c in his first two years. |

Stamkos doesn't need anything, only for (frank)ers to get out of his way! |

Being the best forward out of camp last year? Dominating the AHL the past 2 years? He's earned a shot. And not a shot at playing 4th line duty.

If we sign a new 4th C i will be very suprised. Thompson has worked great for us many years, why trade him cheap and sign an expensiver Brian Boyle? Dont make sense. Paquette/killorn will be our 4th C i think |

Killorn is not going to be on the 4th line. I can see Paquette playing 4th line. But I think Boyle adds much needed size and toughness. |

guys don't forget that we put Connolly as our #1 C when Stamkos went down. he then proceeded to look awful in that role (which makes sense) a winger going straight to 1st line center. but when he played he wasn't playing all that good. although I do remember that beautiful tip-in goal against the Blues heres to hoping we finally see him make some noise for our club this year! |
