Yea that's where we differ, I don't think either player really helps them. I think with Gryba coming back, Weber sits most games.

The trade basically becomes stafford/stewart for Spezza. I get the thinking, but I can't imagine he'd say yes to that kind of deal.

You won't have to worry about Moulson or Ott coming back next season if Murray is only giving out 1-2 year deals. I was told that a few minutes ago.
- SABRES 89

Hope changes his thinking on that then . Really think Moulson can fill a key role here.

Agreed on both. I still don't understand why he said no to Nashville, it really is the perfect fit after Anaheim.

This.

I think they expected too much out of that young group of players. I also think those trades were knee jerk reactions. IMO, they were stupid for trading Richards because him and Laviolette didn't get along. They should have gotten rid of the coach. Not the player.

IMO Holmgren still having a job is nuts. He sucks

Do they have a new GM these days though? I thought I remember hearing he got a promtion or something. I try not to follow Philly too much because I really just despise them.

Tried to tell you they are two different type of players not a fair comparison at all . GROW UP with the telling me what to do . You are the one that turned a friendly discussion nasty .

"Did you watch the games ? " I have seen a few

"Kennedy played at Michigan state " so what he won the whole thing

"He was hardly a beast in the physical aspect of the game . And his freshman year he only had 19 points." 12 less then the almighty had

"Michigan had an off year and a lot of injuries ." I have heard excuses since 1977

"Compher is a different player than Kennedy and you still want to compare them ." Kennedy was better then a PPG player his last 2 seasons and failed big time in the NHL

"The trade was all about Compher for Buffalo ." in your opinion , your trading a top 4 player for a fringe second pair d men and a pick

"So quit trying to undervalue him then . " I never undervalued him, never said 1 bad thing about him (read it again)

I saw nothing friendly in your response, but rather talking down

sorry I am not a rah rah cheerleader, the bills and sabres have sucked too long in my lifetime and potential is just that

This argument is the exact reason why I rarely come on here now. I was looking for some chatter about they draft picks and you all are having the exact same conversations you were having a month ago.

If you go back a bit further you'll find a discussion about whether buying out Ehrhoff was the right thing to do.

So, what's your opinion on the subject?

Bring me McDavid/Kylington

- Sabresfan-365

I think best case scenario is get one of McDavid/Eichel and then one of Hanifin/Kylington

I kinda hope they put Reinhart on the wing for a small period of time just to acclimate himself to the speed of the game first. Let him get up to speed there, then move him to the middle.
- HonkFortheGoose

If he needs to be acclimated, then he needs to be put on the third line. If he can't play center at third line speed right away, then be prepared for another marginal 3rd/2nd line center 4 years form now.
