Still time Sage. The one thing we know for sure is he isn't going to act rashly. - Elbows15
I have to wrap my mind around the cap situation - this year and next year - not really sure what I want him to do now - make a bold move, make a minimal move, concentrate on cap issues for two years and see what skaters already in the organization can do - I'm betwixt and between.
I'm not upset with him at all for today's lack of activity - my take is the cap drop caught them all by surprise (and apparently it could have been worse). |

They do have that attitude. Hence, why they finished 3rd in the division. This team knows how to "flip the switch." If you watched any games this year, it was pretty apparent the intensity and hunger wasn't there in the RS. - CBHawks88
I watched every minute of every game and felt like we played real well the first half of the season and then struggled the rest of the season. The only difference is that I saw a lot of players that forgot to "flip the switch" for the playoffs. Hard to tell in the NHL because injuries are so well guarded and maybe some guys were hurt but I felt like we looked tired from January through June 1. |

I have some perspective for you. The Maple Leafs are in even worse shape. |

I luv the way the talking heads shower these picks with adulation and praise...you'd swear an HOFer was taken with each pick...

That is the result of having players slotted in wrong positions. Talent is good, but having true centers playing the center position is better. That is why TT at #2 center is not the answer, or Shaw for that matter. |

A draft of college freshman who dress flashier than hockey prospects. |

So you want a true center, but not TT, who's been playing C his whole life?
PS Shaw came up as a C too. |

Not a #2 center. It's about slotting also.
Edit - see Handzus last season. |

Bowman whiffs again. It was down to two teams and he could not get it done. This is getting old how long before we get a second line freaking center. #Aggravated #Missed again - mvp0207
Bowman likely would've had to ship a couple of players out anyway...so I'm sure the lower cap was a factor but not as much as playing hardball with Teravainen earlier in the week. |

So far except for picks 2 and 4 being swapped, Wiz has nailed it.
IMPRESSIVE.
EDIT: The train comes off the track at pick 7.. |

And filled that position well enough in the 2013 tournament. |
