Ah, the pricetag for a good center. What if Linden wants prospects like McNeil, a Johns, Tervainen (choose two) and a roster player among Kruger, Bickel, Shaw (choose one). Are the players involved sort of like if not Tervainen, then must receive Kruger. The price tag is high but does Bowman go along with it? It is then looking like a seller's market and Vancouver gets a very good haul for a two year player.

The other choice is if you sign Statsny, then you have to dump salary. How does Sharp not go? Neisen....what would he cost....way too much because NYI do not have centers to spare.

Stan is a capologist. Maybe he can just wink like the Jeannie in a bottle and a center appears. Bowman has a challenge here....we're waiting....draft day is hours away

Linden will get more than one ready made NHL player for Kesler....and if he doesn't Kruger won't be the center piece of the trade.

It does make sense and I have also heard the Canuck would like a center in return.
