It's tough for several reasons, travel being the one that comes to mind first and foremost. I played a loooong time ago, 29 years ago, that said, they still play a heavy game.

Reinhart has played enough on a national stage I think he gets fairly judged by the scouts, I could care less what the media says about players skill-sets. I personally really like him and I'd pick him first overall. But, I don't know much about Bennett, so I'm Western biased by default.

Honestly he reminds me of John Tavares, their skating is not the greatest but their work ethic and hockey iq are exceptional.

Fair enough had a buddy play on Regina, oh Christ must be 10+ years ago now, he said he got ran on more than one occasion by Aaron Boogard and had to keep his head up cuz guys like Ladd and Phaneuf would leave them woozy if the hitting timing was right that day.
But I think Reinhart is worth moving up for though, but I'm not sold on dumping shink, because he's only the 3rd player that I have seen do the high speed side shuffle/dangles. Mind you he was only playing preseason...but he could execute it. The other 2 players that skate this same style are Crosby & Hall. But I'm with you, if we end up with the 1st by some fluke, I go Reinhart all the way.

I didn't get why everyone thought Kesler would garner more of a return now than the previous trade deadline, maybe they thought he would expand his list but he now has one less playoff under contract. Hes being a bit of a child for keeping it to supposedly 2 teams... you won't get the farm for him, may as well just tell him to man up and play it out.

The latest was that FLA was interested but not on his list. The taxes are in his favour. His goalie has another 11 years on his contract. Why wouldn't he want to go?

I just read about that. He was a fun guy to watch, lots of heart and determination. Sounds like he isn't giving up without a(nother) fight.

The article I read said heart or marrow transplants are not options at this point. There are some experimental options in Europe, but they didn't say if gino was going to try them or not.
