Only the team getting Kesler will win it, it's compensation going the other way. The team that gets Kesler will either get a piece that puts them over the top or a piece that puts them in the conversation. (Ducks)

its going to end up being a trade like what CGY recieved for Iginla.

@bcampbell_51: Great watching the @Cubs and @Reds at Wrigley tonight with @10PSharp. Nice watching @joey_votto29 crush a double. Great Canadian.

Which case is that?
- Ogilthorpe2

really? Ok. the Canuck guy said what kind of beer he was drinking. Grinder said its the best beer in the world. And given the nature and tone of the conversation over the last few days, I jokingly said maybe he should put an IMO at the end of his comment. Just in case we could be trade that beer for another beer that others felt was equally as good with a lower cap it.

Two posts later you stated a beer which you prefer making my statement accurate.

Hence. the I rest my case post.

And I can't believe I typed all that out.

That would be Nuck like...I mean think about it...

Two years ago you had Luongo and Schneider (One Day At a Time)........two number one goalies.....and virtually nothing in return...or better yet they didn't maximize their value...

Now with Kesler...will the same happen.....no wonder their fans have so much rage and anger...

Just Maker's. Nothing fancy.

Shouldn't you put an IMO there, huh? Maybe we can trade that beer for another with a lower cap hit?.

howdy Grinder.

- Elbows15

BTW, if you like Maker's (which I don't), try Weller Special Reserve, if you haven't already. About half the price (edit: lower cap hit) and exponentially better taste.

We actually have a few really good whiskeys in Colorado...this coming from a former long-time Kentuckian

Idk if this had been posted yet.

Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times: If the Canucks really want either Brandon Saad or Teuvo Teravainen in any package for Ryan Kesler, would likely be a nonstarter for the Blackhawks. If the Canucks want a lesser prospect than Teravinen or a completely different package, it might work. GM Stan Bowman said earlier that they don’t need “wholesale changes,” but later added that if adding a center presented itself, it could be an option. Patrick Sharp’s name has been in the rumor mill the past couple weeks.

I wonder what has raised the tension in a place that generally has the genial atmosphere of the corner bar?

Yeah really. I hope TT really isn't holding this up. He might be a star or might not (I lean toward him meeting expectations) but I think we can live with losing him. Of course that is when I thought we would trade sharp to get some youth to replace what we gave up for kesler.
