Can't believe all the Sharp bashing on here. Thinking back over the past twenty years can't think of too many players of his caliber that the Hawks have had on the roster. I don't believe any of this nonsense rumour mongering. The guy was the team's leading scorer this year and people are suggesting dumping him off just to get rid of his salary...and for that d-bag Kesler no less. He had a crappy playoffs, but I'm sure he was injured, and he was even too classy to whine about it when he was asked. He was the only guy to congratulate Keith on winning the Norris again on Twitter and has seemed like the most classy player in every interview I've ever seen with him. Would hate to see him go.

What I'm trying to understand is if Kevin Hayes is essentially giving a team a 2nd rd. pick. Let's say you throw in Hayes to Fla and Hayes does not sign with Florida. Does Florida receive the 2nd rd. pick? Do the Hawks? Does no one get a pick if he's traded and still unsigned? If Florida gets the 2nd rd. pick, then he definitely has trade value cause a team gets a 2nd rd. pick for acquiring his rights and not signing him. Does that make sense?

Not sure exactly what you mean, but I am a thunderdome kind of guy. A person should post, and be able to disect what others post, and continue to shape conversations and discussiions. It is impossible in a few sentences to clearly state something and provide context vis a vie caveats etc....

As I stated many times before, it is ironic that it appears so many people on a hockey board (being a mans game and tough), are so overly sensitive and need kid gloves....but hey...that is just me. I have learned and will continue to learn to follow rules or play elsewhere.

Wasn't just the playoffs. He sucked from the moment he made the Sochi team on. He was so injured that he was taking batting practice at Wrigley 3 days after the season ended.

He's overpaid, overrated, and a son of a female dog. I wish him il will. (frank) him.
