Schultz is at 925K. That's a pretty standard, high end ELC, IIRC. I think they just got to pick their team, rather than going to the one that drafted them.

It was talked about all day by several hosts (and updates) on the TEAM 1040 in Vancouver today.

The rights to Hayes have almost no value...they're negotiating rights that expire on Aug 15.

And Morin is a Hawk so by definition we have his rights. He's a pending RFA and the Hawks will certainly tender an offer, at that point he could be dealt. This will happen on July 1 I presume.

True. But from a Hawks point of view if he's not signed and his rights are not traded it sucks to basically trade a 1st round pick for a 2nd round pick, while delaying the impact, if any, of whomever gets drafted to 6-8 years after Hayes was first drafted.

We need an old fashioned hard line CBA where players have no rights. lol
