Glad to hear Sharps not being moved. That said if you look up and down the lineup and 10 guys on the roster have an NTC\NMC.. It'll be a miracle if they can squeeze in a quality 2C. They could make lots of space [$12M] if they could pedal bickell, versteeg, and CC.

Apparently someone has to since he is banging everyone else's . Allegedly. you know if you put that into an statement it clears you from any sort of legal action. hint hint.

Sharp's agent saying the Hawks are not trading him holds as much water as one of us saying the Hawks won't trade him. Agents, GM's, coaches all lie, it's part of the gig. SB could be blowing smoke up the guy's ass for all we know.

Also if by chance the Hawks don't trade Sharp, there are quite a few other guys that can be moved to clear some cap space. I've said I expect Oduya, Rosy and Versteeg all to be moved in the coming days/weeks/months. I'm anticipating a younger Hawks team the next few years especially on the blue line. That being said I do think they land a #2C soon.

All this chatter about Sharp being "shopped" has been missing the some key chatter about his NTC/NMC...this is where agents get involved. There have been no rumors or sources talking about what teams Sharp would accept a trade to.

An agent going public like that is not about to look like a complete idiot when a draft day trade involving his client goes down 3 days after making a firm denial.
