Crosby plays center and is more or less a one way player, Spezza one way player, Pavelski isn't much bigger and skates both ways and puts up points, Giroux is a lil guy who puts up points and more or less plays a two way game...

He doesn't need a stretch pass to be effective.

WHile you may have a small point. Kruger and Shaw are generally D responsible. Crosby certainly is not but makes up for it with his O. That being said how have the Pens fared lately. Yes there D is less then spectacular but having a committed center helping out goes a long way.
