Provided they have others who step up and can play around him I wouldn't mind...but I think there are better options out there...

He played wing this year. He had a good playoff. Was useless for a couple of seasons and he is playing for a new contract. Moore would be the better player to get off that Ranger team. They would cost about the same. IMO.

Moore has no illusions about what he is at this point either. A very good bottom 6 center. Still has good wheels, too.

just throwing out potential low cost Center options now that the word is they are likely not going for the home run...he has #2 c skill and speed but he is a bit whiny and inconsistent..remember that hatty against the hawks tho?? lol

how about Vrbata filling in as the #2 center until Tuevo is ready? or saku koivu, olli jokinen or another washed up UFA??
