How much have you seen of McKeown? I'm pretty high on the kid because his offensive game is very projectible, he has good size, a good shot, and skating is one of the best parts of his game.

Often enough to know he's decent on offense, meh on D & to know some scouts I've talked to wouldn't even put him in the 1st round.

that's fine. you clearly couldnt seem to grasp his point so i was trying to explain it to you
- Crimsoninja

No I clearly did grasp his point. I disagree with it as an example of bad decision making. Where is the harm? What harm came to the Organization or the team, by signing Carter to an 11 year deal, and then is short order trading him? None in my view. And I don't see where the harm is if you like the return on the trade. It seems as my point isn't being grasped. If anyone is happy with the return of Voracek and Couturier, then it's no harm, no foul.

It's fun watching Leafs fans debate him. Half are screaming Tyler Biggs 2.0, the rest are more logical
- Jsaquella

he did struggle but they finally got a center who had talent and he took off..........If I recall they gave up 4 2nd round picks to land Hunter Garlent (http://www.thepeterboroug...rlent-in-blockbuster-deal)

Nah, I went back and forth with him & Travis Sanheim
- ob18

I figured before you even mentioned him.

I keep coming back to my top 5 as Honka, Barbasev, Tuch, Larkin and Sanheim. I've been doing more reading on the later rounds, because I've looked at a lot of the top 35 or so quite a bit.

Anything is possible.

Assuming you will be going to the draft?

Will you have a custom made draft scorecard?

I'd have no problem with those 5

Both days & no scorecard.........I just tossed that one together just now, won't actually do one trying to see how many I'd get correct.

In Bob McKenzie's last list of longer than twelve prospects, he had him at 17 ahead of Honka. The last couple players I wanted the Flyers to grab (Koekkoek, Risto) weren't on the board by the time we picked, so hopefully this one will be.

Goldobin intrigues me as well. After that top 5-7, it's a wide open field. It's hard to even get a consensus on the top 15.

I wouldn't take him at 17 but whoever they take I'm going to root for & hope for the best.

Can I propose a bet between you and crims? If you have more correct in your nhl mock than he does in his nba mock then you get to ban him for a week.

He should, he'd be the kind of goal scorer they could use...........wouldn't even be worried about the KHL, he chose to play in the OHL instead of staying home getting and being paid much more then the same paycheck he got with Sarnia.

Nope, I'm sure he'd be able to find a way to get a ban all on is own without any bet.

Maybe they can trade down from 17 to the early 20's and add a second rounder

Same here. This draft is so debateable cause I don't even have Tuch in my top twenty.

You're entitled to your opinion. I just posted in detail exactly why I think including Carter as an example of bad decison making is wrong, in my opinion.

he never said that trading Carter was a bad decision nor did he insinuate it

this post

My point is that you can't include trading Carter as an example of bad decision making, while lauding the trade. At least in my view.

I've been watching game 7 of the 2010 ECF for the 1000th time ... and, believe it or not, the Flyers are about to win once again.

I miss that team more than I though I would.

now I remember why I don't come here more often ... people don't give opinions, they ARGUE as if only their opinion matters.
