Prock's hate for the Sens is the result of him being touched by a pedophile who happened to be wearing a Sens jersey

I was going to go with pure stupidity. Any person that goes out of their way to troll a team when their team is far worse off is simply not a smart person.

Look at the garbage he spews. He probably believes it! Dumb as a post. He is probably bullied by his boss and when goes home he is walked over by the 400lb ball and chain. Trolling Sens forums makes him feel big and mean. Such a sad little man with such a low grasp of hockey.

Better prospects than Ottawa. A budget to work with. Four points back of Ottawa who were luckily very healthy all year and traded for deadline help to go on a run only to get just four points ahead of the leafs who did not trade picks for rentals, lost their goalie, and went on a slide. Not going to lose their two top forwards in the next twelve months or less.

Better prospects?

Budget? Congrats, love how they spend it.

Keep blaming the collapse on bernier missing 5 games, delusional, leaf fans are what have allowed that team to suck for half a century.

Definitely better prospects. Also, a first round pick. Vernier missed eight games and came back still hurt.

That team that sucked for so long has a 4-0 series playoff record against the Sens.

Keep telling yourself that prock.........delusion is beautiful.

And it's kind of hard to beat the leafs in the playoffs when they're never in the post season......but by all means, keep living in the past, we all know leaf fans have nothing else going, or to look forward to.

Liiving in the past??? You brought it up. Not me.

Delusion is thinking the Sens are poised to be a good team when two team captains jump ship because they don't think the team can win in one calendar year.

How many playoff appearances do they have in the last 10 years?
2nd rd?
3rd rd?
Cup Finals?

If u add them all together u might get Clarksons point total from last season.

Wow, brad may is your "source"

He has the journalistic credibility of hockeyyinsiderr.......and to top it off, you didn't even read what he said. May said spezza wanted to stay, and wanted the team to spend more money.

You English read good....

So you're saying the Leafs rushed Bernier back? Hmm, sounds like bad management to me...

Prock, your team made the playoffs one time in the past 10 years. The whole Leafs organization is a disaster. The suits that run the team are all laughing at guys just like you. They don't care about winning or ever improving, they only care about how much you are willing to spend on the team year after year. The fact is that there are a lot of pathetic people like you (but probably with money) that buy Leafs tickets, swag and other stuff just to try and fit in with their other idiot friends and they believe that this will be their year. All you have man is a gang mentality. Congrats, there are a lot of idiots just like you. You're not better than anyone, in fact you're the worst of all fan bases. You're just a sucker dude, you drink the blue kool-aid day after day. Ha, we all laugh at you man and I am sure your friends, family and co-workers all roll their eyes whenever you talk hockey. You're just an angry guy that gets his kicks out of spewing garbage out on the internet. Everyone knows exactly what you are.

He said "Spezza said if they're not going to spend the money necessary to win then he'd like to go somewhere that will.". Nearly word for word. I believe the statement " he'd like to go somewhere that wants to win" was made.

And that's remarkably similar to what alfredsson said in many interviews.

As long as he's not hurt long term no big deal.

Besides, bad management is trading first, third, fifth round picks for rentals and not making the playoffs.

The fan of the team who signed clarkson to maybe the worst contract in the last 5 years, is talking about bad management

Oh, and what did the leafs trade for bolland again.........and how did you do in the playoffs again?

I'd suggest to go embarrass yourself on the leaf threads, but they all think you're an idiot too.

Yeah, and pretty much everyone else has said that brad may is wrong, and full of poop. Spezza himself said he wanted to leave because he felt he was too criticized.

I guess May knows what spezza is thinking more than spezza does though

Considering the way his youth went, staying close to one of the few places he actually managed to grow some roots may be his number one priority.
- prock

Man, he was out of Cherry Hill a long time ago. He's spent more time in his life away from there than he spent there. What bond could he have possibly forged with the city of Philadelphia that would draw him back there in the end?

People go through normal childhoods in NHL cities and never come back to play for their home team. It's not like Iginla is ultimately going to wind up back in Edmonton someday. Or even Spezza in Toronto.

There might be some reasons for him to wind up in Philadelphia, let's just not pretend that childhood nostalgia is one of them. I'm not claiming to know the guy, I'm just saying that it's not often when a victim wants to go back to a place with that much negativity surrounding it.

No, he just got free tickets from a Leaf usher in the Ballard era, and sorta liked it. It explains the mood swings and the gullibility.

As we know, T.O. is home to Wynners.....and the Toronto 15....Jane and Fynch....and lots of free time every April, well except the one with the biggest game 7 collapse in hockey history.

I don't understand the discussion. I have been told by a reliable source the Ryan contract will be announced July 1st. Most fans will be happy with that situation. I'm okay with it, never was a big fan of the trade, I oppose trading 1st round picks as a matter of principle.

I was okay with Ryan not signing as you know he would bring back a great return in a trade.

The other poster was stating that Ryan's birthplace would weigh against him signing in Ottawa, ultimately returning him to Philadelphia. I believe that a childhood like Ryan's would lead him AWAY from Philadelphia, if it had any impact at all.

That's all it was.

I like watching the Sens play and damn do I wish Lazar was an Oilers prospect but Hemmer is going to fetch 4-5 million or more as a ufa, to offer 3.3 was just ridiculous. I bet he ends up in Detroit, Pitts or NJ.
