No!!!! Don't want to trade for Dion and I definitely don't want to trade a 22 year old who scored 20 goals this year. Develop the D from within, and stop taking on massive contracts. Don't some of you flyer fans who like this rumor think it's odd they just signed him to that deal and are already desperate to move him? This would be such a typical flyers trade completely lacking patience to stay the course. And Brian Boyle is nice but I'd rather get Laughton into that role and start developing him. - FlyerAdam30
the entire suggestion made by Augello that the Flyers are interested in Phaneuf makes zero sense. Flyers already have six defensemen signed - two of which are making 5M +.
I'm not thinking that they need another dman. |

Kesler and Richards please. And let Robidas go, I know he's a warrior but Vatanen needs a permanent spot. |

Someone care to enlighten me why we would trade Mike Richards to a Western Conference team, as the 'rumor board' suggests? Chicago? Anaheim?!? I just don't see him going there, let alone even being moved. |

agreed. i think lombardi, if he wants/needs to move richards that badly (presumably to clear cap space to sign gabo), would rather trade him east for little return than to buy him out, be on the hook for a ton of salary, and risk playing against him with chi and ana. |

If the kings get rid of Richards...it won't be until 2015-2016 when its time to re-sign our Conn Smythe Trophy winner a.k.a Captain Clutch, aka Mr Game 7... Justin "Freakin" Williams, toffoli and pearson. |

I think Mike Richards would make a good fit in Ottawa. They need a gritty guy who has some skills and would make a good leader for a relativley young team. Spezza might be a good fit with the Kings. Not sure what kind of package the Kings & Senators could put together but I think Spezza & Richards could be key parts of the swap. |

It best be picks from the Kings as the Sens can only afford to take on (frank) all extra salary |

Yeah I never thought of that . It's too bad the Sens are in the situation they're in when it comes to a team salary cap. |

Nope, it really looks as though Melnyk has (frank)ed up there... Shame, as a competitive rivalry with the Sens is always a good thing |

Agreed! It's a shame that they're owner has been dragging the team down like he has. I think Murray is do if a pretty good job for what he has to work with! |

ITs too bad an owner that has(had) all the ingredients for a winning team is too cheap to keep them together - instead they will be fringers for playoffs forever- I know this as Edmonton pre-katz was like this forever... when really the last 2 years they should have added more firepower- not get rid of proven talent... |

Not exactly sure why the Wild would have any interest in their former 2005 4th overall draft pick Benoit Pouliot. They already currently have plenty of bottom 6 forwards, younger, more potential and quite frankly more talented than Benoit.
Besides Pouliot already had 5 relatively worthless years in the Wild system which triggered the first of several trades from Montreal to Boston to Tampa and now currently with NY.
Not to mention he's already proven once that he's not a good fit for the defensive type of system the Wild and Mike Yeo currently employ. No thanks. |
