I guess "hate" is too strong of a word for Pronger. He was an opposing player that made life very difficult.

But hate I had, for Darcy Tucker, Claude Lemeiux, Esa Tikkanen, Ulf Samuelson, and James Neal.

- MBFlyerfan

Mine were Matt Cooke, James Neal, Colby Armstrong, Chris Neil, Max Talbot and believe it or not Martin St Louis. I loved to hate Scott Sevens and still love to hate Sidney Crosby. I suppose this is the Pronger effect. I do like Talbot now.

I get the feeling Derek Stephen, Derek Dorsett and Carl Hagelin are going to move up on everyone's hate list. I can't believe how quickly Dan Carcillo has moved up on my hate list. I love him as a flyer.

Dorsett and his antics got him to the top of my list. Welcome to the Top 5, Derek.

I kind of use this criteria, if I don't want them ever to play for the Flyers, that gets me in to the "hate" category. I felt Darcy Tucker was the biggest piece of excrement in the world. Every game I watched you could see him headhunting and trying to hurt people. Trying to end careers. NO guts. And what made him even worse was that he had half as many guts when he was wearing a road sweater. There was no honor in his game.

I don't like Crosby, I think he is a diver, a complainer etc etc etc, but there is no doubt he works his ass off on and off the ice and I would take him on the Flyers in a nanosecond.

Matt Cooke is another I would put in my hate category.

Chris Neil to me is the tough guy who doesn't fight tough guys. After his attack on Radovan Somik, I'm not so sure I've seen him fight very many tough guys. Colby Armstrong, headhunter. James Neal, headhunter. Matt Cooke is dirty. Max Talbot just knew how to get under the Flyers skin. Margin St Louis is a Flyers killer.

Didn't Gary Bettman just say the deal wasn't close yesterday?

So a guy from Philly owns the Devils and Islanders.

I don't think Chris Neil has ever thrown a hit below the neck. He was nothing but a headhunter in the 07 Finals and, yes, fighting Somik and Chara fighting Timander killed those guys for me.

Been in Philly all week
Nice weather!
For those near Ardmore the brewmaster at Tired Hands brewery is a wizard
Amazing Saisons and hoppy brews

If I lived here I'd be there all the time

I was here in May and nearly bought a game 4 ticket for Flyers Rags but they were pricy and I ended up not going.

My rental car in May was $15 a day
In June they wanted $90 a day at the airport
At 30th St it was $29/day

Andrew Barroway may have been a lawyer, but he's a billionaire with the leverage to do this deal because of his financial services firm. He is a hedge fund guy.

Roenick and Forsberg.

I was never a fan of Pronger before he came here. But that is one of those things where you hate a player until he is your player.....

- MBFlyerfan

can you imagine a healthy forsberg, jr, and pronger all on the team at the same time?

Supposedly he sold other investors by promising to be a salary floor team for two to three years

I would think he'd be able to be better than that after a few years in Brooklyn.

Per Dreger, Flyers looking at Ryan Kesler, because apparently 6 (frank)ing centers isn't enough

EDIT: Whoops, Philly is on Kesler's "OK, I will accept trade there" list, not that the Flyers are into him...WHEW!
