Agreed. I have nothing against them or Justin. All were traded. None left by choice and all hoped to stay here.

Carter has managed to have three big playoff runs for LA without a broken foot and after he's matured physically and mentally and he's a beast. But he played well in two playoff runs for us (and not in three others--imagine being inconsistent in your early 20s!).

If Richie had been here and become the player his is now he'd be crucified. He is a piece, not the whole puzzle. And it's been good for him to not be the media's go-to guy. He might have been the right captain in the room for Philly but he wasn't the right one for the scrum with the media. Live and learn.

And there's no way in hell I'll ever root for Pat Kane, no matter how many Zus's and Sharps they put on the team with him.
