this may just be drunken musings, but isnt there at least some merit behind the thought process that if hank intentionally headbutts the puck out of play, shouldnt that be a penalty?
- stayinthefnnet

It depends how intentional. If there is no doubt that it wasnt incidental then I guess yes, but there always will be that doubt so no ref is going to call it as intentional. Too radical of a call. I think it was the right call given the situation.

yeah i understand. i dont actually think it crosses the threshhold. but i mean, if the nbc announcers are going to blow him for his awareness to intentionally get it out of play with his head when they needed a whistle, i mean.... thats a no go.

I hate trading simmer but for Josi id do it. Simmer is great Josi I think puts us closer at winning a cup. Also JJ is ours not yours. Deal with it.

I think they just kind of love to praise CSP just a bit. Sure he was trying to deflect it away from the net but I dont think he has the awareness to intentionally deflect it off his head. Seems a little too complex.

hell yeah. josi would put you guys a lot closer. simmer is tough to give, but you definitely are in tune with the have to give to get philosophy. i dig that.

that second part though.

LOVE IT when people say "I hope the (team that beat our team) wins so we can at least say we lost to the champs!"

No. No. No no no. (frank). No.

If you beat my team, I want to see you (frank)ing trounced.

Go West.

(frank) the Rangers.

I'm going to be (frank)ing sick.

I hate everything.

did you see that ridiculous blocker extension save in the first period? it hits him, on the goal line of course, the puck goes into the corner, and then he fires his blocker out afterwards, like he had to reach to make the save. it was (frank)ing ridiculous.

i missed the third period so i don't know if he was relevant or not. i'm assuming not.

chicago and la are both better. unless of course, their goalies get hurt. don't be surprised when that happens.

what? it's a distinct possibility. then again, things looked like destiny in 2010, but then niemi's face and leighton's 55 hole showed up, so...you just never know.
