I don't mind jerks if there is some base of factual knowledge to their argument. To say Hedman will never be a Norris candidate just shows what little he knows about hockey. Hedman may never be nominated, but his career trajectory says otherwise.
Didn't you say that all Buffalo players are crap, and not a single one is good enough for the Lightning? That was actually dumber than XxDBxX's comment. |

I'm just trolling Buff-a-slug fans. So often they would come in here bashing the Lightning during rough patches and it got really annoying. I'd take Myers, maybe Erhoff and a few others, but that franchise as a whole is a mess. |

So you gave up first overall next year for fifth this year? Sounds smart. |

Yeah, but they have some great prospects to begin their official rebuild around. I think it will long (4-5 years) but steadyand they will be a force. Especially after next years draft if they get a top 2 pick. |

IF the team is bad enough next year to own the first pick, we don't friggen deserve McDavid.

Hey Michael, do you think we have enough (without destroying the farm) to make play for the first overall? Aaron Ekblad could line up next to Hedman! - Artyukhin76
Yes but yzerman won't be willing to give it up |

Or Eichel. Talent in the prospect pool is deep (deepest, depending on who you read), but the missing piece is up the middle. |

Well they will be lucky to win a game this year, so that shouldnt be a problem at the next draft, let alone this one. |

Keith feasted on second assists and power play offense.
And his relative Corsi was 36th in the league. Hedman's was 11th.

I don't understand why so many people discredit secondary assists or power play offense. In my opinion neither take away from your contributions to the team, those secondray assists might be breakout passes to the wingers that lead to goals, or cycles in the offensive zone for the open shot on the power play, or just a pinch to keep the play alive. Secondary assists STILL mean you contributed to the play that led to the goal, so "feasting on secondary assists" is fine by me.. still leads to a goal.
Same with PP offense... even though Keith had a 65.5% Even Strength assist percentage over 35.5% PP assists. He only scored 3 PP goals. Which came out to 17 of his 55 assists on the PP, i wouldn't exactly call that feasting, no? Hedman had 11 PP assists... I would like to see both of their goal differentials while on the ice regardless of ES, PP, or PK just out of curiosity.
EDIT: found it.. Hedman 89-GF and 83-GA, Keith 126-GF and 86-GA |
