There ya go. A former King scores the double OT goal to beat them. It isn't just us.

I think somebody will trade for him even if they have to retain salary. Was he on the 4th line this game?

I dunno, if youre the Kings and you have a bunch of good kids, why not just take the clean buyout and not retain anything?

I have no idea. Maybe like 2.5-3 million? I cant see him making a ton more from a competitive team (Some undesirable teams will pay him more).

Yea I think he has all playoffs

He just can't skate with the rest of the team. He's been struggling for awhile

He has 6 points in 18 games and is -5. Just interesting. But yeah he has been struggling.

Probably more like 3 but yeah around that price. Hes playing on the 4th line now and I just cant see any reasonable GM giving him 4.

Kings would face cap recapture if he retires, they have two CBO's. I doubt they find many takers.

They are pretty deep down the middle
Anze, Carter as 1-2
Stoll is killing it the dot
Richards is playing PK and on their 2 PP unit

He'd be a number 2 center on most teams

Won't it be funny when they give him a $1M two-year deal to "coach" or "scout"?
- Tomahawk

Yeah, I love how that part of the post gets ignored.

Yes, he retires, gets hired as an ambassador/Scout/figurehead/good luck charm for two years at $500K each...Christ they're paying him $4mm to not play hockey, I think that if they can manage cap relief, they won;t have any issue paying him another $1mm over two years to "scout".
