I watched the replay 100 times. Emelin's stick taps Kreider's right leg, then Kreider takes a shot and loses his footing on his LEFT leg. If you really think Kreider wasn't falling into Price had Emelin not tapped him, you're either a fool or incredibly naive. - habfanforever
He hit his right leg mid-air so when Kreider went to skate it threw off his balance.
That and it all happened within seconds. How about you try to reenact this with a couple of your friends and see if you end up in the net. I bet you do...
I'm rooting for the habs on this series but I don't think there was any foul play involved with this. |

So Emelin did trip him then. Glad you guys realized that. |

I believe this was right after Buffalo in some way eliminated the Leafs from the playoffs that year. |

I have been told Toker is doing as good a job or better than Price. |

I believe everything has been on purpose in this series. Bunch of jerks on these teams.
Suspend 'em all. |

It looks that way to me... Tokarski seems to play consistently (granted, small sample size) and on an even keel. Price's play is so up and down... not to make light, but it almost seems bi-polar. He sometimes looks so calm and cool between the pipes; makes these crazy saves and it seems like its nothing. Then, the next game (or period, even shift) he seems to lose his faculties. He gets rattled; you can see it through his mask.
Price is a good goalie. He even won a gold medal this year... but I bet you could have put Dubnyk between the pipes and Canada still would have won with the team/system in front of him.
With that said, if the Habs lose, it won't be because they lost Price... its because they'll have been beaten by a better team. Good for them for beating the Bruins (and effin' up my playoff pool) but they were punching way above their weight in that series... looks like they punched themselves out. |

Not so sure about being out coached but have been surprised about the gamesmanship and on ice tactics. Pretty sure the Habs will not limit themselves to only the kitchen sink tonight. They will bring the ones from the laundry room, garage and all bath rooms. Good chance "Tokarsky" gets hung out to dry and the clock strikes twelve. Doubt we will see the least penalized team in the league, all season, get rung up for 8 more by the refs again. |

Yeah, maybe a bit too extreme... was going to say Reimer... but that would have been equally ridiculous. |

Nope, and for what its worth, I think the Rangers take this in 6. I just feel that crashing into Price was a game plan on New York's side. Injuring Price was not intentional but to think he wasn't crashing into Price without that tap is ridiculous. |

this thread is about the rangers and habs series. i am stating facts with proof, and habs lovers are getting angry because they can't defend the pathetic display of their team last game. yet i'm the troll? righttttttttttttttttttttt.
we all know if the habs were up 3-1 right now, they would be planning the parade and signing OLE OLE OLE.
im just here to return the favor. lets hope it's over tonight, getting eliminated in montreal would be great karma for such a dirty team. - sensnucksnocups
Not that I agree with all but when it comes of embellishment, they are the state of the art. Soccer team of hockey. I have like 15 videos of this season's embellishment act by the Habs on my phone. My favorite is Pachiorety, he's funny to watch fall. Super big body, lots of strengh in is leg, but he goes down easy with just a little tap in the back. The worst in all of this is, Pierre Houde, RDS an the fan are now used to watch this type of hockey and they love it. When us, fans of other teams sees this, we raise the issue and habs fans go nuts.
You can't blame them, it their world, they don't know any better. |

That's because you're obsessed and suffer from an inferiority complex. Judging by your english, I suspect you're a former Nordiques fan. Hence why you're so bitter...
If I had time to waste, I'd probably find 15 or more videos of Sens players diving and flopping around... |

I'm not buying that.
The same could be said for NY too, they came back from being down 3-1 against PIT plus their schedule early on was not in their favor. They've spent just as much if not more energy than MON has in the playoffs. - FAZOOL
Montreal is emotionally spent. They felt like they did enough by just beating Boston, and the rest is just icing on the cake. It's a shame, they are a much better team than they are showing. |
