Down here, near the Jersey Cape, it's rare to find a contractor who doesn't have a rod & tackle on his work truck. We used to have a dude who kept a kayak in his truck - Jsaquella
i had mine up the poconos this past weekend. was pretty windy which was problematic, but a bad day on the water beats good days doing most anything else |

They need offensive help, so one young " top" prospect for another.
There is no way I would trade both Schenns for Myers.
I do like Myers and would really like to see him in Philly.
Maybe a 3rd or McGinn along with B Schenn and Grossman - 3flyerkids
I am really against trading B. Schenn right now, unless he is part of a package of a bona fide #1 (ie Weber, Subban, OEL), which isn't going to happen.
The guy is 22 years old, and I don't believe he has reached his ceiling. The team goes through his growing pains the last two years, I just can't see it for a "hopefully" really good d-man in Myers or someone else.

I haven't fished once yet. Water is so cold. I assumed there isn't much out there yet. |

Nothing but good things to say about JP Crawford from the Phils' brass. Batting .346 for low A Lakewood. Didn't realize he was tearing up like that.

But the Sabres won't want Grossmann, period. They like Myers. The new GM isn't trading him for an inconsistent 22year old, a 29 year old limited guy and a3rd rounder or AHL tweener forward |

He's very boom or bust. I would take a shot on him if they get Embiid with their first pick.
I'm warming to Parker a bit. He's going to be a great offensive player. I worry about his defense though. |

At the very least, it would take B Schenn and a first round pick. Grossmann would just be a throw in. No disrespect meant towards Grossmann. But he's a defensive defenseman, albeit a good one, with bad knees. Young talented defenseman are at a premium. - MJL
You could be right...but I would not give them a 1st as well, those two components would have to be apart of a bigger package for a higher calibre #1 Dman
I think Gorssman could hold the fort so to speak while some of their younger players develop. They will be loaded with picks as we'll, so a young talented centre like Schenn may be something they would look at |

Please no. If the Sixers pass on one of the big 3 for him, I'll be very upset. |
