No, I absolutely did not
U just take clips of what ppl say and fly off the handle bc its "fun"
Prob why u missed me say I'd take Reinhart #1 a bunch of times

What I said about Ekblad was that IF Murray thought he graded out better than Myers, it wouldn't surprise me if he traded Myers for a forward & picked Ekblad
I also said I like ekbkad more than myers & would make that type deal depending what return I got for Myers
Yet the entire time...
I NEVER swayed once from the opinion that I'd take Reinhart

Even tonight...
All I said was it wouldn't surprise me if we took Ekblad
And u chose to start sh!t

One (semi)realistic trade or signing you'd like to see this off season?

Hard to trade anyone with a high dollar contract as we need to make cap floor . I would like to see Erhoff go for a good prospect that is a few years into his development.

I posted earlier Ehrhoff and our 2nd to try to move up and get virtanen.

If that isnt possible, I would like to see Ehrhoff moved for two prospects, hopefully one that is somewhat along his ways in his development.

Our problem being we have to replace Erhoff's salary to make cap floor . We could overpay a few free agents on short term contracts if any will come here to make up for his salary I guess.

I forget who mentioned it...
But I've heard Ehroff for a couple of Detroit's young guys proposed by a poster or two on here

I know i did back at the deadline. Last offseason I was interested in Tatar, Jurco and pulkkinen, however, all save pulkkinen's value have shot through the roof.

I wish we could've pulled off a Vanek for Toffoli & Muzzin deal a couple seasons ago
Seems like what we'd like to see happen with an Ehrhoff deal

I just asked Indianapolis Colts 3rd string QB Chandler Harnish to connect on Linkedin. I was an advisor of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee at NIU when he was active in it. I wonder if he still remembers me, we'll see if he accepts.

If that was actually on the table and Darcy didn't take it he should have been fired then.

We would have our goalie though and a solid 2nd line leader. Of course we probably wouldn't have the #2 pick and a legit shot at 1 or 2 next year so in the end it might be for the best.

I think some people don't understand the magnitude in which improvements would have to be made to get this team out of the bottom 5.

The only teams I can think of that made an incredible turn around like that are Philly and Columbus but both teams had far better/more ready young NHLers than we do. Plus I think the bad year from philly was more about long term injuries.

Montreal and Philly are proper examples. Columbus is not.

IF Hoff is going to be moved, it'd of better be for 2 almost NHL ready prospects and not some hopeful late 2014 1st rounder.

Or we'd have a 28 yr old goalie, who when we'd be ready to compete would be Millers age.

Stafford for Okposo was on the table and one that should've be executed.

Hoff's value is tough for me to guage. He's over 30, but will be dirt cheap in both salary cap and actual pay. He is a solid two way, unspectactular, but talented Dman. Does a team give up two useful prospects for that?

While Columbus had been tanking for a while, there turn around was also basically a 1 year flip versus a team getting gradually better and people expecting you to be better, like LA.

The off season they drafted Murray and brought in Bobrovsky THN had this in their regular season predictions:

Why: More accurately, the explanation here should be preceded by "why not?" The Blue Jackets traded away their only star and didn't inspire any fans with the return; Steve Mason and Sergei Bobrovsky don't provide any more security as a tandem than Mason did alone; and the depth of talent on this team is lacking. Even though the Central Division took a hit this season, Columbus was a unanimous choice to finish at the bottom of the barrel. You can write them in as our choice for No. 30 overall, too.

My point is everyone expected to be complete crap again and they were almost playoff team (until the final day I believe).

Miller is 34, I hope we are ready to compete sooner than 6 years and yes Okposo should have been made without question. Why Darcy was so attached to Stafford is beyond me.

23:54 mins a night. Good for 28th in the league.

Brian Campbell was 3rd in the league with 26:57.

Hoff is a much better all around player than Campbell and he makes 3.1 less in cap hit.

So the answer to your question is yes.

Columbus has made the playoff's twice in their history.

Montreal drafted 3rd and made the playoff's the following year(and won the division).

Philly drafted 2nd(while being the worst team in the league) and made it to the ECF the following year.

Sorry but Columbus was a sh!tty analogy.
