No Seabrook would be. He is clearly better than Mac. To say he isn't is "well asinine" and, Suter? Suter sucks. Seabrook is also head and shoulders better than him as well. Seabrook, Keith, and Hjarlmasson should be the nominees for Norris. - mrhattrick27
The Seabrook/McDonagh thing was ridicolous on the blog yesterday. I understand that player debates are subjective, and people are going to have different opinions, but to say that "Seabrook is clearly better than McDonagh and to suggest otherwise is absurd" is quite frankly absurd. |

I wanted to post something on the hawks blog yesterday but due to the almost guaranteed ban I would have gotten for the barrage of trash talking I was going to unleash and the fact that after I heard seabrook was better than mcdonagh I was laughing so hard I could barely type, I decided otherwise. I actually laughed out loud at work. The hawks logger is a whiney know-nothing douche. He's like Philly radio show hosts. They have no idea what's going on outside of their own town. |

It was not only that Seabrook was better than McDonagh, it was that Seabrook was so clearly better that to suggest otherwise was absurd. |

I've got to get through a 9 hour shift at work and watch it on DVR when I get home at 11. So I don't want to hear it. |

This is what I was saying. It is one thing to have an opinion on the matter, but to say it is asinine. Not absurd, asinine, is in itself asinine. The Crawford over Hank. facts are facts bit is what sent me from calm to cursing though.
EDIT: as I say this the NHL posts an article saying how McDonagh is entering elite defenseman status. |

If you read this article, it makes a big deal about how calm and patient AV had been at the beginning of the year when the Rangers were going through the process, and suggests that is his greatest attribute.
It's amazing how winning really changes all perceptions, because alot of the fanbase at the beginning of the year were really put off at it -- "The Rangers suck and all this guy does is sit around and chew gum -- for god's sake throw a chair or something!"
Winning really is everything as far as coaches are concerned. If you win, a personality trait is your greatest strength, if you lose its your achilles heel. |

I don't get it. I didn't expect the lunacy that ensued. I've never seen such arrogance, anger, and stupidity by a fan base before; it was stunning. And I tried to be civil. But to be honest, it was somewhat my fault. Peaked my head in and saw they were still discussing it, mentioned it here and BOOM FIREWORKS. |

I've notice your either really good at sarcasm or really bad depending on one's definition
Because at times peaking into the habs thread I have had no idea if you were being serious or not with some of the stuff you say |

It was bad that first month, then they finally come home after 35 games on the road & get shutout in the home opener....by some team in Canada.
We were hearing fire AV from a few of the fans too, count me as someone who was unhappy with him early on but he stayed the course, did the old Frank Sinatra & its all good right now. |

Obviously, every fanbase has their gems, but they do have alot of tired name caller types on that board. Found that kind of funny. If you are going to get into a war on a hockey board, at least come up with some material that makes us laugh. Is that really too much to ask? Your mom's a whore, and New York is a cesspool full of ...... and ...... really doesn't do it for me. |
