Bad hit, but it wasn't THAT bad and I'm not sure Prust is a repeat offender? I feel like they'll look at his style of play and deem that he's a player that plays on the edge and this time, he went just over the line.

Because the surgery requires all sorts of stitches & wiring, plus all the meds he's gonna b on for the pain. In not counting him out for the playoffs, but for Sunday NO CHANCE he's playing. Likely weeks.

So much for my thought that Stepan didn't get hurt.

Surgery pretty much indicates he is done for the year. This isn't getting stitched or sutured up; surgical procedure needed is an entirely different animal.

This is very bad news and the league looks like a joke once again. Prust illegally hits Stepan, without a penalty called, and Stepan is lost for the season.
