I am not suggesting the series is done. I can't deny that I am feeling confident about this team's prospects but I am not writing off the Canadiens just yet.

Really can't stress how important Kreider's return to the lineup has been as well.

It's really a perfect storm for the Rangers. The entire team rallied around a tragedy to a teammate/brother and they all seemed to have found their games collectively too.

With their backs against the wall the Rangers showed us their heart and their character.

It's championship quality; I haven't been more proud to be a fan of this team than I have been these last two weeks.

Yea game 4 vs Pitt seems like eons ago. And it's safe to say that after that performance the only people who believed they could win were the players thank god.

Joke: if you did think they had a chance it's like masterbation...95% of us didn't think they did...and the other 5% lied and said they did

It was pretty grim looking after Game 4 of the prior series.

Not as grim as getting caught pulling your pud but grim nonetheless.

The players and the coaches believed in this team and at the end of the day that is all that matters.

The Nash wipeout on the PP leading to that goal...was that game 3 or 4? I literally threw my remote across the room

yeah, don't be. Really...

Usually at this time before a game in the Boston series, my heart was already racing.

Right now, I think I'd be more hyped over a pre-season game.

It wasn't just the play by Nash but Girardi misplayed the breakdown in front of Hank and McDonagh dogged the back check. It was the perfect trifecta of awful on that play

Can't be worse than the Bruins song. Quite an odd choice for a team that is "tough"

after game 4, we were all convinced something was wrong with McDonagh physically, it never seemed like we would ever score again and the day of game 5 St Louis mother dies and for awhile we didn't even know he was playing.

It's insane how the fortune's have changed since then

The Philly series we didn't have:

Kreider
A PP to speak of
Hank being Hank
A great PK
Nash scoring

Vs Pitt we didn't have:
Nash scoring
A great PP

MTL we have had everything.

I said to myself, imagine what this team could do if we had everything we lacked in the Philly series...and here we are

St. Louis has been such an inspiration to this team and to the fan base in these last two weeks.

His goal, on Mother's Day, was a moment I will never forget. I am glad many of us never wavered in our support for him, even during his regular season struggles, and when this team was down and out after Game 4 against Pittsburgh.

His presence and play have completely galvanized this entire team. Nobody ever counted on such a tragedy, to refocus the players, but it did and he has been their second most important player during this run.

As far as Lundqvist goes, yea, people need to not talk about how he is not great in the playoffs ever again; no matter what happens going forward.
