Here's a question I've been thinking about the last little while.

What does the team do with the log jam on D-men who are on the line of starting in the NHL next year?

As I see it, Tinordi, Beaulieu, Pateryn and Nygren should all be considered to move up to the Habs, but there's 2 spots to fill at most (assuming Markov comes back).

you cannot have more than 2 rookie dmen in your top 6. that's utter suicide.
also, there are only 3 veteran defencemen under contract for next year, including Subban. that's not much of a logjam.
