On the wing, amongst the top3 lines, the Knights have Anderson(CLB 2nd rounder in 2012), the Rupert bros who are very experienced, it being their 3rd Memorial cup. They also have Domi (12th overall in 2013), rookie phenom Mitch Marner and Gemel Smith (2012 4th rounder by DAL).

Most of the players above are older than Big Mac, except for Domi, Horvat and Marner. You probably know the former two, but the latter is a top player for 2015.

I spoke to a lot of people at last night's game about him--people in the know. You think Minnesota's all in, but the hockey people in Minnesota aren't. The owner sees the marketing potential, but they aren't breaking the bank for Vanek.

If he wants to sign there, it's not going to be anywhere close to what he was originally going to make.

He's hurting his value a lot. A lot. I'm not just sharing my opinion with you.
