Leafs and Habs were neck in neck before Bernier's injury.

You yourself said earlier in the year they were pretty similar teams.

Habs are were they are because of hot goaltending, and not much else.

i think Bourque is OK on the third line. he had that brutal game 1 with the penalties but i find he's been moving his feet for the most part. not sure he'd be my first scratch. that would probably be Prust.

Obviously. Also he's American and the Habs greatness only ever came from cheating the system back in the 50's and 60's...or something like that.

Patches was 14th on the team in average ice time killing penalties.

Perhaps the Leafs don't want Kessel killing penalties....they would prefer him using his minutes at even strength and the power play. Doesn't make him a bad defensive player.
