B4 the cap salary came into play, the NHL trade deadline was my fav day of the year. To me it was bigger than Christmas, Easter & Thanksgiving all put together. Than the salary cap went & ruined it. Now we have 8 hours of TSN on hockey dealine day with nothing but speculation chatter & little action.

I like it here. I have a once a year tradition, when the Bruins get eliminated, I go into their site & say NEEEEEEENER NEEEEEENER NEEEEEENER. I hate the Bruins, Sens & the Nucks the most.

The Maple Leafs were-um among the worst Corsi-um and Fenwick-um teams (the best known-um of the advanced statistics) in the-um NHL this season. When they collapsed, the stats mavens-um were almost gleeful. They knew it was-um coming. They called it. The Leafs were-um their convenient poster-boy for the changing way-um to interpret hockey. And an easy-um target.

You know what blew my top? Was when the Sabre fans came in here talking poop about Vanek. How great he was in the regular season, yet how he Vanek-shes in the playoffs. You gotta be so let down-um by his performance.

Don said last night, he was criticizing Vanek on the 1st NY goal last night that he missed covering the guy b4 the goal. So he said Vanek's mind is not in the game, that Vanek is thinking about the off season when he plans to sign with the Wild.

He's frustrating to watch, not because he's not intense, but because he tries to pass it too much when he's open for a shot. And those blind-passes are infuriating.
