Personally, I think Tallon is ambitious in his attempt to finish u this rebuild and would ask for Corrado ,Horvat and your 1st this year. I would expect to be told to fck off, but that's what I would ask for.

As would I. But really, that's all Tallon's doing. Seeing if he can pick up a great asset and still draft a quality prospect. He only needs 1 good bite to make the deal, and still pick in the top 10. Might as well drop his line in the water.

I dont think its like av failed in that game. at that point the guys know the system, whos dangerous in the other side etc etc. Its just a matter of executing and getting a bounce or two.

Like any coach he has a shelf life. Firing him was the right move, no sense looking back. We are all happy for him and his success with the Rangers.

This draft is a bit all over the map. There is no true #1, and even the top echelon is rather vaguely defined and depends on who you talk to. A team looking to traded up 5 places wouldn't be offering any significant pieces. Trading up a few spots rarely does yield great returns. A player like Tanev, who would immediately slot into the Panthers top 4, would be plenty. Anything more and the Canucks should walk.
