Botch said months ago he never would, stick for the morning skate , he would go home to Pt Roberts and let the assistants run practice.

The trying to buy out Burrows, well Scooby said before himself Burrows at 4.5 sucks . They are not wrong.

fFreakin hilarious.

You know what else is freakin hilarious ? We use to laugh at Oilers because they were a bottom five team and they use to sit around and brag about the superstars on their team .

We missed being bottom five by maybe one week . So you boys enjoy the summer keep telling each other howmfreakin good this sad sack bunch of players are.

My prediction as long as you have the Sedins here you will be a soft team. Enjoy the circle jerk.

I think FA hired Linden because he knew I would struggle dearly to hate him. Well played...

Then the skate going down hill fits, or we should have the orca stuck in a native gill net, and who has said this team good?

I'm not a fan of ANY of the appointed "yes men" who were "leaders" under the Gillis/AV dictatorship. It's not a coincidence that they went from Naslund to a (frank)ing goaltender to Henrik Sedin wearing the "C". Embarrassing.

Time will change that for all of us, FA found a perfect person to deflect the attention from himself.

I think there's just simple miscommunication here, some people are just saying that it wont be easy to move some of them out, they're not saying that they want everyone back Everyone here seems bored with this team and the core, I think everyone wants to see some fresh faces, a more entertaining style and some youth in the lineup from day one.

I'm not much of a fisher. Part-time job, taking 2 classes(1 online), probably just gonna spend time with the gf, chill, party, etc.

Fisherman dammit... a fisher is a lesion on your bung hole... and you are not one of those.

So much for the moratorium on talking about the Sedins, which you agreed to. Are we going to have to go there again? should I repost the Malkin vs Henrik stats again? or the litany of players that could also be deemed 'soft' (Gretzky, Sakic etc etc - but who were deemed to be generational talents - do you honestly believe that they would be anywhere as successful if they didn't have the advantage of being protected by having someone ride shotgun with them). The Sedins don't need to be tough - their role is to score and create offense, which they've done so to the tune of being two of the top 10 players in the league for years. Tough doesn't mean that you have to fight etc, being remarkably durable and taking a lot of punishment game after game yet continuing to accomplish amazing production demonstrates their toughness as it is.

I never understood that points down hill stuff.

How often when you are skating do they point up hill? Usually when you are sitting on the ice.

I would like to get rid of the Orca C.

Exactly, there are not many people who feel that change isn't needed, but not by moving the Sedins. That is NOT our problem, our problem is getting secondary scoring.

Wow what a beautiful day out there! Golfing was awesome, despite the amount of money I lost. So - where do we go from here? A lot of balls in the air right now.

Now it makes sense why you lost so much money, you're only allowed to play one ball

You pretty much have to go back to the Sven Butenschoen days to find a team that had two solid scoring lines:

Naslund-Morrison-Bertuzzi - 76g, 130a
Sedin-Sedin-Carter - 73g, 128a

Plus they got 45 goals from the D that season too!
