Need to wait until after UFA period, you can't just predict what trades and signings everyone is gonna make.

I said this current core.

That was the point of the discussion , that this current roster would fail again and that change was needed.

If it is any comfort to the fans here I see the Pens following the same steps we are. I think in two years they miss the playoffs unless they start moving pieces.

Has anyone actually straight up disagreed with this statement? I don't get why this is constantly brought up.

That's after the draft and UFA . I may have a different opinion by then too. I was talking about this lineup.

It was brought up because I brought up the point what does a GM do with 9 NTCs .I won't bring it up again.

So what are you doing this summer, fishing Camping? How are the parents? Are you going anywhere special.

I am hoping to go out swimming with my granddaughter this weekend again , you got any plans?

I heard a lot of different things last year, in fact it changed every month or week.
It's funny how these fans change from game to game.

I think there's just simple miscommunication here, some people are just saying that it wont be easy to move some of them out, they're not saying that they want everyone back Everyone here seems bored with this team and the core, I think everyone wants to see some fresh faces, a more entertaining style and some youth in the lineup from day one.

I'm not much of a fisher. Part-time job, taking 2 classes(1 online), probably just gonna spend time with the gf, chill, party, etc.

I think that "moral" victory versus the Kings was the turning point. It was pretty much all down hill from there.

You have two types of personalities on this team , The Sedates , and the play like Bastards.

The play like Bastards are made up of Kesler Bieksa Kassian Mathias Burrows Sestito.

The rest seem to fall on the side of Sedates.

I think we need more of play like bastards.

We are Bi Polars .

I never really formed a bad opinion of him because he wasn't around long enough. I liked his passion and I like his ideas but he had choirboys trying to be gangsters. They hired the wrong coach for this team but I did like him overall.

Torts tried to get Burrows bought out.
He didn't speak to the head coach in Utica once all year.
Didn't review film of next opponents, and didn't hold enough practices according to the players.

Shocking stuff from an nhl coach.

He wasn't a fit for this team, but he did expose the weaknesses

I disagree. Kesler can play this way, but often doesn't. Same with Bieksa. In fact, I don't get the sudden hard on for Bieksa, the guy is just as or more terrible then Edler. Their stats at the end of the year are very close with Elder playing 13 fewer games. And Sestito, the dude is terrible at hockey.

I was suggesting that this is as close as we come to that type of player.

I don't have a hardon for Bieksa ,in fact I said I would be on board with trading him to Toronto or Phil if the offer came up.

he is the hot ticket on the trade mill , shows you how far we are falling. I like his toughness when he uses it but I think you can get someone cheaper to play 5/6 position and get a more skilled player for 3/4

I was looking to see if Bryan Allen was available but he still has time left with the ducks.

He's an easy target but he's a damn good defenseman when his head is in the game.

I liked him when he was 21,22,23...hoped he would reach potential by 24 I disliked him. By 26,27 hated him, just for how much he hurts this team. Makes the stupidest 1st pass most times. Creates 2 options at most. Easy to read. Puts other D-men out of position. Last year was no fluke that he was the worst +/- in the league. It finally became obvious to others what I'd seen in him for 3-4 years prior.
