We should stop ripping Daniel, he probably reads HB daily and loses more confidence with each comment. |

I wonder how a new GM is going to feel about coming on a 24 th place team with 9 NTCs on a 23 man roster , and told to fix it.
Also no one on the farm really ready to step in yet. - VANTEL
He never said he won't approach a player who has a no trade. He'll respect the clause but if Linden was traded, anyone can get traded. The Canucks turnaround started when they moved the core in the past. The same thing has to happen here and Linden knows it.
Imagine the Sedins in Tampa on the 2nd line? Magical. |

The point is it is a social club here , no one wants to leave.
Edler Bieksa and Kesler have all come out and said they don't want to leave. The Sedins love it here ,I don't see them moving and this is home for Garrison and Hamhuis, what are you left with? |

For morning coffee check out Habit on Pandora, about three blocks walk. There's also a store which specializes in the enjoyment of recreational pharmaceuticals on Johnson, just down from Government, might be up your alley? - 1970vintage[url]http://www.sacredherb.com/#/1.%20HOME/home_001
Already on our radar!
Thanks for the coffee tip, a good coffee is a must. |

They'll leave even with Linden driving them to the airport with crutches.
All the players will say that. They have too.
If we can move the Sedins, that's what you do first. Just like they stepped up when Naslund, Bert, etc., were gone just you watch what happens when they leave. All of the sudden Schroeder will be the 100+ point man we all know he can be with Prab Rai riding shotgun.
What could go wrong?
Edler will be moved with Ottawa, Philly and Detroit as his likely landing spots.
Kesler will be moved with Pittsburgh, Philly and Colorado as his likely destination.
Garrison will be moved with Boston or Florida as his new home.
Canucks will get a lot in return for all three.

I said it before ,excuses are for losers.
I love this team as much as the next guy, this team is far from a winner. I am allowed to express myself as much as the next guy or do you want all yes people holding hands and singing kumbaya by Rogers arena. Make all the excuses you want but for three years we have been declining. Look at this roster and fiasco and tell me you think it will finish better than 9 th next year. We have won one playoff game in the last 10 games . Wtf does that have to do with Torts or the Olympics.
This organization has many many faults so don't put the blame on me. - VANTEL
I'm not putting any blame on you, if that's what you read from that well...sorry.
If excuses are for losers then I guess whining/complaining is for winners. |

I think you have to look at approaching Edler and Kes and say look Kes, we're rebuilding and we'd like to move you to get some pieces and hopefully allow you to get another shot at the cup.
To Edler you say" (frank) you, you useless female genitalia, either you waive or you can sit in the press box for the next 4 (frank)ing years. You peice of poop (frank)ing usless female genitalia bumhole" he probably cries....then waives |

shhh...other gms read this stuff. The good news with Edler is that a guy like Benning, if that's the guy, will know his true value because they made an offer. If that's the case, the market is already set and he can be moved quickly. Don't kid yourself - 29 teams will be very interested in Alex Edler. |

I just hope Edler still has solid market value, otherwise you might as well keep him, hope he turns it around under a new staff, and trade him at the TDL next year for a better return.

As long as he's gone I don't gaf. People talk about who to draft cuz they make other players better....Edler is so (frank)ing brutal he makes whatever other D-man he plays with look much worse. |

This is the thing , look at all the teams getting an early exit . They are all saying the same thing , they want to get younger faster bigger.
We are on the wrong side of 30 for a good chunk of our players.

If you want them gone then just tell them you want them gone, its that simple. It is not hard to get rid of NTCs you just end up taking less in return, but I see us becoming Edm. |

I hate to break the news but we finished 3 spots ahead of Edmonton . Thank God we had such a great Dec because they were ahead of us in 2014. |

He's an easy target but he's a damn good defenseman when his head is in the game. |

A guy like Benning will also know how to throw off the Sedins as Marchand did in 2011. It is possible he may not be a fan of that style either and want something that has a little more pushback.
Don't forget he is coming from the big bad Bruins and there is nothing Big Bad about Hank or Daniel , and big bad is the style he is familiar with.
he will probably look at this D core also and say it is too passive. As smart as Tanev is he won't strike the fear into anyone. Bieksa is as close as we come to that type D and the rest are not even close. |

Benning was with Buffalo before as well(he drafted guys like Pominville/Roy/Vanek/Etc), I don't think he had a big say in the style the Bruins play, his main role was just to evaluate younger players upside and talent. |

I thought the idea behind this site was to pump up some loser Flyer fan's ego.
As for the question, I don't know I cant predict the future, how are all those teams going to change? Or how will Canuck management change. SJ & StL both got punted in the 1st round. Our record against StL this year was 3-0-0, but all that means nothing when it comes to next year. |

Need to wait until after UFA period, you can't just predict what trades and signings everyone is gonna make. |
