In all seriousness, if Shero is out too, Mario better have someone in mind and ready to roll. Lots of decisions to be made and you can't afford to take your sweet little time hiring.

been a long time. I'm guessing since the politics surrounding the new arena were dominating the news. I doubt he speaks today, but if Shero is fired, who knows who the mouthpiece would be.

Didnt he speak right around the time of the Islanders brawl in early 2011? I seem to remember him having some harsh words for the league at that point.

I think it was an "open letter". It got blown out of proportion, but he took a lot of heat for it and I don't believe we heard from him since.

A letter to the league saying he would rather sell the team if the headshots kept coming. Everyone called it hypocritical with Cooke on the team.

But which record? Regular season? Post Season? Off Season?

I understand the unnamed GM's position, but this is hardly only about one's record. This is more likely about perception, relationships, and the mistakes (real or imagined) this GM made with players and coaches--especially coaches.
