Being a Philly sports fan pretty much sucks right now:
The Flyers are done and the Rangers are still playing
The Phillies blow
The Sixers are down to rooting for a ping pong ball
The Eagles don't play a meaningful game til September

And the frankin weather isn't even nice

I think Schenn plays better at center, but not markedly so. I keep doing line combos, and I keep getting back to two things-I want Couturier in a scoring line role and I want Laughton as the third center.

i don't remember it either, but it's been a couple of days at least. when there's a sudden absence and the thread count is about half of what it normally is, there's a reason.

Oh, sorry. I made a mistake. But I still can't agree. Donald Brashear isn't likely to come back and he doesn't skate well enough to play center.

Regardless if you unload Vinny or not, Laughton comes up and your back to square one. We might even be worse off because we get even younger with Laughton coming in and with that comes the growing pains. Schenn should have saw full time wing duties even when he was playing on a line with Simmonds and Briere. Not much has changed in all three seasons since Schenn has been a regular in the line up. I've tried to point this out many times already but I think many think Laughton will come in and Sean Couturier with immediate 20 goal offense.
