Haven't you heard? Kane wants Kessler on the Hawks, badly. It's going to be TT, Leddy, Bickell, and a 2nd for Kessler and his diving coach. - Ogilthorpe2
Bicks so is (frank)ing hot right now,
I thought Kane wanted his London Knights boy Gagner for Versteeg and other random spare parts |

Sutter Letang for Kesler Edler?
Neal for Kesler?
Let the bold moves begin - DDM-Coga
I'm laughing at your first suggestion. Edler? Really? Pass

I guess. That change actually makes it more appealing to me...slightly. |

I'm not saying Edler is a star but I'm not sure there will be to many teams willing to even take Letang. |

5 months ago Letang had more value then Edler. I'm not sure anymore. Personally I think van is getting robbed in that deal |

I agree, but it was just spit balling names out there, its never that simple as 2 big names for 2 big games anymore.
And if the pens traded him now it would look like such a Richard move. Guy has a stroke and comes back to play and you just move on at the first chance you get.
They have stand by him, at least for now, if he can prove that he has a season or 2 of no health issues, then its fair game to trade him. |

You shouldn't. Big contract and a stroke survivor. I think he can regain his form from a couple of years ago. Actually had a pretty good playoff, but who knows if he has to retire. It's not like a broken bone or something and they never really figured out why he had a stroke. |

Agreed
As I said, I doubt most teams would gamble on Lang right now given his healthy and contract, let alone give up any value for him. I think its a extremely good chance he never comes close to his old form |

That's a huge contract to take a chance on as well given his health |

Pretty sure he's not going anywhere. He's the only youngster with any size that has top 6 ability. I think he's the heir apparent to Hossa's spot when he eventually either declines to bottom 6 status or retires. At least right now, but things change. Shaw drives me nuts, million dollar talent/heart...ten cent head. |
