Nyquist, Mantha and Kindl for Kesler and Bieksa - dcz28
Call me a homer, but with the inclusion of Bieksa, i'd argue for Nyquist, Mantha and Tatar, though that is an original offer |

You know whats pretty awesome is Bergevin was in the Hall-Way just before the end of the game and this guy was high giving each player and jumping on them and hugging them.
Gotta love the energy from a GM>

Not sure I would make that deal. Wings could use a guy like Bieksa but I don't think Nyquist and Mantha are going anywhere. Curious to see how Mantha does in the Mem Cup. |

Meme a ca, the guy has yet to play in the pros, can't necessarily value a kid's long term potential on junior numbers alone. |

Wings wouldn't trade both Tatar and Nyquist (along with Mantha) in a package unless a guy like Weber, Doughty, Subban or Karlsson was coming back. I don't see them trading Nyquist but the rumours always say that if they were to trade one of Nyquist or Tatar, Tatar would likely be the one included in a package. Wings have too many prospects right now and likely won't be able to fit all the ones that can make it into their roster within the next 2 or 3 years when they all run out of waiver options. |

It's not just numbers with Mantha and the Wings do value him a lot as a prospect. Kid already has NHL size to go with his skill which is rare for the Wings who usually end up with small skilled guys that have to build their size.
Anyhow my comment was just that...want to see what Mantha does in the Memorial Cup tournament. Kid has been lighting it up all year and curious to see if he can keep it up against the top teams in the CHL is all. |

Sure, but in this specific example, Detroit is arguable getting our two most (and only) reliable, driven, and identity defining players.
Thing is Vancouver could win the trade in the long term, but Detroit would get the most short term benefit ....
In doing that trade, you guys are better over the next 2-3 years as opposed to us, thus the trade would or should have to be favored in a mutually beneficial way.
At-least i'd hope soooo |

I just said it as a joke really. Wings don't need another center at this point. Sure they could use Kesler on the wing but their biggest need is a right handed defensemen. They have a couple in the AHL and they could be playing them next season but they likely want to give them more time in the AHL to improve their two way game. Bieksa would help in that aspect in giving some right handed depth until the prospect are fully ready to come in and take over. |

Oh and fck Boston. Marchand and Julien losing is great to see |

In the 4 games in Boston I seen 2 Asian girls and 2 Blacks in the stands. The 2 blacks were Subbans parents. I guess the two Asians they let in to avoid the Donald Sterling controversy.
Have you ever seen a whiter city? Cliff Clavens paradise. |
