I laugh at all the love for AV now on twitter, he was so done and stale here. Not to mention the Rangers lineup is better than the Canucks lineup over the past two years.

Very funny. Last year Vigneault was the cause of everything wrong with the Canucks. Now he's god. Although it doesn't help that Canucks replaced him with NYR's used trash. Last year, Luongo was a choker and done. Then he gets traded and then Twitter Canucks are in tears. Last year, a guy like Weise was an example of a hopeless Canuck fourth liner. Now he's a Hab hero approaching Beliveau status, at least according to certain Canuck tweeps.

I know you are joking but Crosby is starting to return to Earth. Go back to Olympics and last years playoffs . he is becoming human again.

Just another victim of the wrong supporting cast that every star player needs. They should deal Letang and Fleury to get back better value assets(in terms of cap hit) and go from there. Let Orpik walk.

They could really use a Kesler type for sure, they need done emotional players with talent. I didn't see that from Jokinen, Neal, etc when Crosby struggled. A new coach could potentially help big time, I could see Trotz ending up there though so who knows how that would turn out.

I am not sure of what kind of supporting cast could be better Neale Malkin Kuitz Letang Jokinen SutterMartin Niskanen

If that supporting cast is not good enough we don't have a chance in hell.

Pretty much, lack of a second wave of good young talent is the reason of the quick decline.

Talent is there, they don't have the right style and personalities IMO. They need a guy who can use emotion to ramp up his game and others around him when Crosby and Malkin aren't lighting it up. Fleury is also fragile as hell. Bylsma doesn't seem to adjust well at all.

Other than POSSIBLY Horvat, we won't see a push by any young players for two to three more years.

Only if he impressed early, definitely nothing wrong with giving him a few regular season games before having to make the decision.

I'm not a fan of rushing kids to the NHL, never a good idea. Drafted 18 year old players, as a general statement, should play another year in junior at the very least.

Most kids who have success at the NHL level, soak a bit before they come up. See Anaheim for an example.

Say you don't get a trade you want for Kesler , I would finally play him all year with the twins.

I am a bigger supporter of AV, always was.....I do think he was stale in Van tho but he is way better than the poop that gets flung on him by some resident Canuck bipolars....

If he reaches his potential he'll look nice next to Nyquist.

And Evander never played AHL.

Sometimes lazy sometimes high skilled and he can fight.
