Actually yes he is.....offensively, St Louis is better but in every other aspect of the game, Kesler is superior and 10 years younger....

Ohh God ENOUGH...... You Can't even compare the two. Selke trophy 2 Way player, and and Art Ross Winner who had a grand total of 8 Penalty minutes this season. Kesler probably got that in one game.

Okay, fair enough. Kesler hasn't put up the offense in 4 seasons though and St.Louis won the scoring title last year. I don't agree, but I get your reasoning. The age thing only matters in terms of long term value, not on who's going to help you win a hockey game today.

Kesler could help Pittsburgh win in many crucial situations. They had fricken Marcel Goc on the ice in the final minutes only because he is the only guy that can actually win a face off on that team. Teams will always always always overpay for a player like Kesler.
