we brought in Kesler Edler Burrows Hansen our team spikes upwards. We had growing pains but it worked out.

We have Hodgson Kassian COrrado Jensen. make a mistake get sent down or pasted to the bench.

I hope Horvat sticks around this year and they give him more a fair chance to make the team.

Horvat will make the team, book it. Either that or he goes back to the OHL for a fourth year. I don't want to see that happen. He's got nothing left to prove at that level and he can't play in the AHL.

Don't take it the wrong way. It was not meant to be offensive.

Have you heard of the expression putting all your eggs in one basket? Of course you have. So they gave all the prime time to them , never gave any youth a chance , and now are getting old.

This is why a team hits 24 th spot. You need to replenish and teach. None of that has been done.

I agree that there has to be a balance, but there really hasn't been anyone in the Canucks system that has been ready or has enough talent to crack the top 6. Hopefully, now that there seems to be more of a focus on prospects, that will change. But for now, you have to go with players that are going to allow you the best chance at being successful. It would be fantastic if we could ease the Sedins ice-time and have players that could step up and fill that void, but at this point, I just don't see anyone that could make any significant impact (although I'm fairly excited that Kassian seems to be coming into his own)

P.S. and yes, you f*cking meanie, thanks for making me (and Baby Jesus) cry

I think COrrado could have played last year. Jensen they waited way too late.

I think they could have given Grenier a look .

I'm not worried about Henrik at all, Daniel does worry me though. He needs to score 25 goals.

It almost seems that Daniel just hasn't been quite the same since that concussion he suffered. I know you had a couple of fairly significant ones yourself - did you feel your game changed or that you lost your edge etc after sustaining them?

still getting the puck bunnies, eh?

I found that after I sustained one playing lacrosse, I was a bit more tentative when I came back - at least for the first while. I think people don't understand how much psychological impact a serious injury can have, not to mention all the rehab and frustration of trying to get back to the same level you were at prior to the injury.

He's having a good playoffs. Do you remember how eager we were to get him over from NYI? Pretty sure we could have put a better deal together than Cal Clutterbuck but...

He was a malcontent in NY.

That was when Edler didn't have a NTC and had a good rep.

We could have had Niño and Neilsen for Eddie.

Does that make Booth the Martian Manhunter? (since he once knocked Bryz's helmet off)

Shots are really at a premium in this one (9 SOG for CHI in 35 mins). That's one aspect of Wild hockey I could do without.
