Scott Cullen has Kevin Bieksa and Jannik Hansen on the Leafs roster next season, I wonder what the Canucks got in return... Reimer and a 1st?

Gardiner, Gunnarson, and Reimer it would see. Clearly the players we need right now.

I'd rather develop Markstrom further than have Reimer on our team. That being said, the Leafs would probably be the only team Bieksa would waive for.

I think you have to have competition for every position. Last year's training camp was a farce. We need to be prepared to lose Markstrom to waivers if he needs to be sent down, rather than having two rookie goalies because they don't want to lose an "asset". Hopefully this off season is filled with great coaching and conditioning and both guys come into training camp ready to compete with whoever else is in the fold.

Are Gaunce and Shinkaruk the only Canucks prospects that can play in the AHL next year? That haven't already done so that is.

Why do people believe Bieksa wouldnt leave? He has a serious dislike for the Van media and fans. He makes no shortage of pokes at us. I think it's a myth that Vancouver is a premier location for NHL players. The state of the team makes it less so than in the past even.

Lain already played in the AHL last year and Cassels is only 19 years old, not eligible yet.

Eagles move up for my boy Jordan Matthews. Makes up for the pick last night.

Read an article where MacShay comparrs him to Watkins. Has better size, faster and a better combine. Says Watkins has slightly better hands. Saying Watkins is slightly better but how one is considered a once in a lifetime WR and the other wasn't considered a 1st rounder is a joke.
I think the Eagles did well after the 1st round but I question the Smith pick in the 1st round.
Fine and dandy if they love him but I think they could have had him in the late 2nd round

Anybody can leave, that's for sure. But the interview at the deadline pretty much summed up what being a canuck means to juice

Read somewhere that Edler had one of the most unlucky seasons in NHL history. Something about the 2nd highest % of shots in NHL history went in while he was on the ice. Basically every shot that was on net while he was on ice went it(obviously not every one leaf fans)
It went on to say his season wasn't great but the huge negative in +/- is not reflective on his season

In a draft short on rushers I believe Smith was the last available edge rusher before the value really fell off. Still I thought they'd take Bucannnon at that spot

Honestly they need a pass rusher. Cole is probably gone after this season since his/cap hit will be like 10 mill
I'm a/little surprised the bucs didn't draft a young qb as Glennons potential seems limited
