I'm calling it now, Montreal-LA final with LA winning in 6 - DariusKnight
I think it will be Chicago from the West - they've proven they can beat teams with solid defensive systems (look at what they did to St. Louis - granted, Miller didn't exactly stand on his head; however, they also beat Boston for the Cup, a team that epitomizes top to bottom defensive mind-set) |

His play in these playoffs makes me think I would be open to him as part of a Kesler deal, as long as it was more than just him and a pick comig back our way. - Chest Rockwell
I agree, I think there would still have to be another piece coming back, whether decent draft pick/prospect or roster player.
That said, Sutter's stock seems to be growing, despite the limited offensive opportunities he's had. He's certainly making the most of them, though. |

They wouldn't have beat LA last year, but for Kopitar being injured. Quick is back to being the game stealer he was in 2012 and that will be the difference.

Chicago proved they can beat a stifling defensive system and top notch goaltending (Rask) and didn't exactly have an easy road to the cup (on both occasions). I just think they are a very well rounded team - one that also has several game breakers, which makes a huge difference in the play-offs
Edit: I would be willing to put a little wager on it if you are conducive? |

I would put my money on CHI. Those guys are champions and they play it. |

If he's calling out some PHI players on Day 1, imagine what he would've done to our team. |

Nothing wrong with accountability but your right that accountability should be said to the player not everyone and there dog. Tact should have been used. Constructive criticism. He would have drafted well over a few years. If he was just being a Richard once the player will keep his mouth shut he does it twice the player will should tell him to Fak off. If my boss called me out in front of my peers once no biggie remember your mistake and you improve. Twice he doesn't like you and you need to speak up. |

Don't worry. Benning will be the new GM and Stevens, Desjardin or Blashill will be the next coach. Horvat, Jensen, Draisatl and Shink will make the team out of camp. Markstrom will live up to his potential and all will be good in the world. |

Yeah....really, who would buy that?
Maybe if it came down to Tambellini and him, but even then I would put it on auto-pilot. |

Good effort today, kaptaan. You told Carol she is just re-treading old news and that Alex is a racist. With you around, who needs trolls! - Marwood
Haha, boom!
We all read what we want into comments. I'd like to see Carol write things the local useless media don't, kinda like what Yost does for the Sens.
As for Alex, i am just pointing out how segregated some parts of the metro are with respect to other parts of the metro. I'm not saying she's 'racist'. it's not an indictment. just an observation of the social fabric in the metro area.
Not much race mixing going on in the great white north.
What are the chances any given 'white' person has a friend for real, who is 'Asian' of the south/ east variety.
I'd venture slim to none. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, just that it's a fairly rare occurrence when it does. |

So all you want Carol to do is find the story that the 50 reporters who cover the Canucks day to day haven't got, even though there might not actually be a story because the only thing that's happening right now is Linden talking to potential GMs (and maybe a coach or two) who can't talk to reporters because they're all under contract with other teams currently? Good luck Carol! - KB3Point0
Hey, Yost finds a way with Sens. Just saying. |

So, you think Surrey could support an NBA franchise? - Grumpy13
Uh, actually I'm saying that there are plenty of fans that weren't included in the 'general interest' by Alex in different parts of the metro and that it might help to get out to said parts of the metro once in awhile just to see what's happening.
The Grizz had fan support, just bad management (stu jackson and company). |

Generally, you like a women for her qualities, regardless of color and ethnicity.

As you know we have known a lot of the guys here and from other fan bases and I can say over the years there is no one racist here.
In fact Kaptaan brings up the race card more than anyone and should let it go. It gets a little annoying . |

It's been a while since I've lived in Van but I can say with all certainty, many in Toronto would call that statement complete BS. I have friends of all ethnic backgrounds, dated women of varying races over the years including south/east Asian.
I lived in Kits and while it was a pretty white neighbourhood when moved there, I did notice that it was more diverse in my latter years.
