It wasn't a penalty.

love how people say Subban intentionally knocked the net off, and he was the only person close to the puck

why would you need to run into an obsticle, if you going to be first to the puck

Subban helped the Habs jump out to a 3-0 lead. There would be no third period collapse by the Habs in Game 3 as it was in Game 2. They would hold on to win Game 3 by a score of 4-2. Subban, Vanek, Plekanec, Price and the Habs could easily be ahead 3-0 in this second round series against Montreal right now.

Gotta love Garth.

That's how I saw it as well. How do they know he did it on purpose? FFS.

And even if he did... who cares? It gave them a faceoff in the Habs zone.
PK would've probably picked up that puck and flipped it in the neutral zone... it worked out in their favor and they still whine about it.

Edit: I was also way more livid about the fact that the Bruins got 3 free timeouts. Why did the clock guys wait the entire timeout and everyone setting up for the faceoff to realize "Oh sh-, we're missing half a second on this thing, lets give them an extra 30 seconds while we set this thing back"... and they did that poop like 3 times.

Remember when Pete said he had a feeling the Habs would win yesterday?

This makes no sense. He hit it with his right shoulder.

Besides, so he turned late. So?

Well, if it was deemed intentional, Boston would have been awarded a penalty shot, no?

He also said you wouldn't be a Bournival homer, and look how that turned out.

Wouldn't it just be 2 min for delay of game? It's not like it prevented an amazeballs scoring opportunity...

Going to get puck behind right side of net the changed his mind and went to left side of net hitting it with right shoulder.

Ok. The ones I saw looked that way as well. They also made it look unintentional. Don't see them making that call without being 100% sure.

No.
No reason to do it, he was going to be 1st on the puck.
