It's cute to read leafs fans comments on how Carlyle isn't so bad and they will make the playoffs next season.

It means they're getting a new toaster.
- mr.peanut

and he only just got used to it, the pressure will be through the roof. New systems and a new toaster, hopefully he'll get to work with the same players.

It's cute to read you commenting on how the Habs aren't the worst team to ever grace the earth...until next season.

I just listened in on this conversation. 70 odd year old neighbour pulls into his driveway with a motorcycle, the 30 odd year old neighbour between us says ' hey thats great....750?' Old man says yeah, young guy says 'cool, mine's an 1100' Old guy says....wait for it....'(frank) You!' and went in his house. I just about died laughing.

They ARE a middle of the pack team. Nothing changed in that regard. Now, if they are n a good run, fine. It's fantastic.

And (frank) Boston.

Not surprised one bit by this move. Carlyle is not the problem in TO, if anything he's gotten this team to prematurely over achieve over the past couple seasons. The players on the ice need to be responsible and with that said they will need better ones. I can't believe so many people are saying the leafs would have been better off replacing him with Trotz. The guy has won like one or two playoff rounds. Please get some bigger sandpaper forwards that play 200 feet, like Komorov or something and get another top shut down dman would be the ideal off season for leaf fans
