I really like what I hear from Hexy. Rely more on the draft, get better at drafting in the middle rounds and BE PATIENT

I think that's the real recipe for success.. and I expect he will do this, as he did in LA.. once you build that solid corp, supplement with a trade or 2 and a UFA or two, but you can't build that way.

i think he was a bit cocky - #1 pick, huge contract, goalie - i get it. he always got lit up against the flyers. i wonder if he'll stay in the game somehow...haven't heard anything about him at all.

im concerned about dupuis coming back off of his injury. an older player whos game was based off of speed.

hes got 3 more years at 3.75 i think.

If you want to build through free agency, you'll make the playoffs most years, but will have trouble advancing.

yeah, the pens got some things to figure out. they're bottom 6 needs help and they have a lot of $ locked up.
