yes, i realize that. i'd be fine with the wild winning. in fact, i'd prefer it as they're the only remaining team without a cup.

minny, anaheim, montreal, la, pittsburgh, boston/chicago, new york. that's my order.

Briere with the game 7 cup final OT winner. That's gotta be the script
- eayost

I can honestly say that Briere doing well in the playoffs right now has absolutely no effect on my belief that it was the right move to buy him out.

Seravelli disagrees, which reinforces my opinion even more.

That's the most encouraging item from the move. If Hextall digs as deep as Lombardi into every possible tool to evaluate players, it likely means that the Flyers won't be grabbing many Tyrell Ghoulbourne's in the third round moving forward.
- Jsaquella

What an awful pick at that slot.

There's not a single player on Pittsburgh I would have the slightest sentimentality about them winning a Cup.

I can name multiple players on each of the other remaining teams except the Rangers.

I'd like to see Nash raise the cup. He deserves it.

Pitt or Boston or Chicago I would hate, I'll leave it at that. The current NYRs team is hard to work up much hate for, they are so vanilla

Just like Richie and cartsey being reunited in la and winning a cup? And them both becoming first players in history to come back from 0-3? It's going to be Briere, Bryzgalov, or the dry islanders winning this year. Just because.

There really aren't many teams left to root for as a Flyers fan.

I'd like to see what our roster would have been with Briere counting $6.5m against the cap. Take out Vinny, sure, but then you also need to lose another $2m.

haha i cant tell if that was sarcasm or not. i actually like him a good deal as a player, although hes been harder and harder to defend as his time in NY has gone on. that being said, hopefully he keeps it up a few more games

you don't understand. with the rangers, it's way more about their (frank)ing fans than the team. in fact, it's entirely about the fans except for csp and sather.

+1000

i'm still bitter about 2004. of course the guy does (frank) all for his first 20 games as a ranger, but then conveniently shows up in the first round against us. and he's from my alma mater. still hate him.
