I honestly wouldn't give him more than 5 aav for 5 years. That would be my max, but I have heard that teams like Colorado are looking heavily into Niskanen. When it is all said and done, I'm hoping the Penguins can pull off a trade of his rights and snag a 3rd or 4th round pick, not unlike the Hamuis situation a few years back.

Didn't we snag a 3rd from you guys for Hamhuis?

Why are so many Matts in hockey Mattys. Have you ever once in your life met a Matthew that would for one moment allow you to call him Matty?
- ThirdEye

so true. i had a high school teammate matt, and they all call him matty. it's just how hockey nicknames go. rarely are they creative.

it's too bad pierre doesn't call kristopher letang, kristy.

Why is it that he calls Kunitz 'Chris', when his given name is Christopher? There's got to be more to this 'Pierre Code of First Names' of which we are unaware...

The game they did on Saturday, they got on this Dartmouth kick that actually made me gag.

Yep. As if Pierre wasn't creepy enough, he had to extend it to one of the Flyers, although I'm sure it started when Pronger was in Anaheim, or Edmonton, or St Louis...

doc emerick has just had his voice ingrained in my head with hockey now though, to the point where i like hearing it. but a lot of the times when i stop to think about what hes actually saying, he becomes hard to take seriously sometimes.

i have the same issue with joe buck and playoff baseball. although i want to punch joe buck in the mouth, his voice is synonymous with playoff baseball

Doc used to call Flyers games years ago - back when he was good - and it was okay. Now he just strays from the call too much.

Add to that Edzo and Pierre chiming in any time Doc takes a breath during play, and it's irksome.

I agree with you. I would like to see about a guy like Adam Larsson who is in AHL for Devils and seemed to regress or Rundbland or Del Zotto if no QO is given by nashville
- J35Bacher

I wouldn't make sense for Nashville not to qualify Del Zotto.

NJ made the mistake of rushing the kid, he should have stayed in Sweden for at least another year.

I'm hoping the Flyers inquire about Kulikov. Hopefully, Tallon has lost patience with him and is willing to sell low on him, especially with new ownership willing to spend money. Only 23, a change of scenery could help turn him around.

Yeah, he was pretty much given free rein to go go go in Sweden... then he comes over and they slapped the shackles on him right away. He's still trying to figure it all out.
