i realize his size. but a lot of guys dont really use their size to their full advantage. im not going to say who, because i will most certainly invoke some sort of reverse curse on tonights game.

he has a pretty good shot for sure. he always had his fair share of snipers goals in buffalo. but right now, he seems hesitant to get it off. whenever hes gotten it in prime zones, he seems to delay just a half second too much and its broken up. but hes making up for it with his nose for the net. the habs PP is nice right now. very simple, but using their best players in positions to best utilize their ability. spread it out wide, PK up top and just blast away, vanek in front looking for tips.

09 was the last yearly one I bought... the only one I've gotten since then was 13 b/c of Giroux.

My last two hockey games were ESPN NHL 2K and NHL 99. Great covers.

I just hope you're enjoying his last days as a Pen. For you will hate him by mid-July.

Why are so many Matts in hockey Mattys. Have you ever once in your life met a Matthew that would for one moment allow you to call him Matty?

Does anyone else not give a poop about the playoffs after the flyers were eliminated? Usually I'm still into it, but this years borefest with the rags has me turned off this year.

I'm interested in the elimination games. I'll probably watch most of the ECF and SCF.

ugh. i dont know how strong the hate will be. there comes a point where i cant really fault a player for leaving when the cash is THAT different. like talbot. i never really harbored much ill will towards him. he was a pen through and through. never wanted to leave. but it would have been lunacy for him to turn down what you offered. im sure the same will happen with niskanen. the pens really cant afford to match what you guys (or someone else) can throw out.

Ant and Rob E were talking flyers all day Friday. Figures since they start now when they are out. Oh, and Ant said the JVR/Schenn trade was on of the moves, along with the Vinny signing this year, that has crippled the flyers chances recently.

I watch the games (except the afternoon ones) because I love hockey but I do not give one hoot about who wins.

It's a toss up between that series and the 2012 devils series as the most boring playoff hockey I've ever watched.

Usually I'm the same way. This year left a bad taste in my mouth though. Which sucks because there are some good match ups going on.
